By downloading, installing, or using the Ulloor Styles app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our app.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration
3.1 Age Requirements
The app is intended for users 13 years or older. Users under 18 should use the app with parental guidance. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
3.2 Account Registration
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain account confidentiality
- Valid phone number required for SMS verification
- One account per phone number
- Notify us of any unauthorized use
3.3 Account Types
- Customer Account: For booking services
- Salon Owner Account: For providing services. Business information should be accurate
3.4 Salon Verification Process
The verification process includes:
- Photo Verification: Upload 2-5 clear photos of your salon with the business name clearly visible
- Review Process: Our team reviews submissions to ensure authenticity
- Approval Status: Accounts progress through "Not Started" → "Awaiting Approval" → "Approved" or "Re-upload Required"
- Re-submission: If photos are unclear, you may be asked to upload new photos
- Booking Access: Only approved salons can receive customer bookings
This process helps ensure customers connect with legitimate, verified businesses and maintains the integrity of our platform.
4. Platform Usage Rules
4.1 Permitted Uses
- Book and manage salon appointments
- Communicate with customers/salon owners
- Leave reviews and ratings
- Upload profile and salon photos
- Process payments through integrated methods
4.2 Prohibited Uses
You must not:
- Engage in illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity
- Harass or abuse other users
- Upload offensive or copyrighted content
- Attempt hacking or disruption of the platform
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others
- Spam or send unsolicited communications
- Compete unfairly or scrape platform data
- Violate any applicable laws/regulations
5. Booking Terms
5.1 Booking Process
- Subject to salon availability
- Confirmation sent via app notification
- Arrive on time
- Pricing/services set by individual salons
- Salon Listing: Salons are listed based on their registration date, with earlier registered salons appearing first
5.2 Cancellation Policy

📅 Booking & Notification Policy:
- Appointments must be booked at least 1 hour in advance
- You will receive a reminder notification 1 hour before your appointment
- Cancellations are allowed up to 1 hour before the appointment
- Please contact the salon directly if you need to cancel within 1 hour
5.3 Auto-Cancellation Policy
No-Show Policy: If you don't arrive within 5 minutes after your appointment time, your booking will be automatically cancelled as a no-show. Please ensure you arrive on time to avoid automatic cancellation.
5.4 Rescheduling
Rescheduling option is not available in the current version of the app.
5.5 Walk-in Services
- Walk-in details can be recorded by salon owners for business tracking only
- The app is not designed for walk-in bookings by customers
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Payment Methods
- Offline Payment: Cash or card at the salon after service completion
All payments are collected directly at the salon upon service completion.
6.2 Pricing and Fees
- Service prices are set by individual salon owners
- Prices displayed include applicable taxes
- Platform does not charge booking fees to customers
- Ulloor Styles currently provides the platform free of charge for salon owners during the initial launch period
- Any future changes to pricing or commission for salon owners will be communicated in advance
6.3 Refunds
- Refunds are not applicable as payments are collected directly at the salon.
- In case Ulloor Styles introduces online pre-payment options in the future, a separate refund and cancellation policy will apply and will be communicated in advance.
7. Salon Owner Obligations
7.1 Business Requirements
- Must operate a legitimate salon business
- Maintain accurate business information
- Comply with local health and safety regulations
7.2 Service Obligations
- Honor confirmed bookings
- Provide services as described
- Keep business hours updated and accurate
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries
7.3 Service Quality & Behavior Responsibility
Salons are solely responsible for:
- Service Quality: The quality of all salon services provided to customers
- Staff Behavior: The professional conduct and behavior of all salon staff members
- Customer Experience: Ensuring a safe, hygienic, and professional environment
- Service Standards: Meeting industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Customer Satisfaction: Addressing any service-related complaints or issues
Ulloor Styles platform:
- Acts as a booking facilitator only
- Does not control or monitor service delivery
- Is not responsible for service quality, staff behavior, or customer satisfaction issues
- Customers should address service-related concerns directly with the salon
7.4 Revenue & Reporting
- Platform provides revenue tracking tools
- Salon owners handle their own tax obligations
- Business data remains secure and confidential
8. Content & Intellectual Property
8.1 User Content
- You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, reviews, etc.)
- You are responsible for rights to content
- Platform may remove inappropriate or infringing content
8.2 Platform Content
- Intellectual Property (IP): The app's design, layout, code, features, and content are the property of Ulloor Styles
- Trademarks/Logos: All trademarks, logos, and brand names in the app belong to their respective owners. Users may not copy or use them without permission
9. Privacy & Data Protection
- Only necessary information is collected
- Data stored securely using industry-standard practices
- Personal information is not sold to third parties
- Users control privacy settings

10. Disclaimers & Limitations

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of Ulloor Styles shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, India.
